Having this guy in the centre is costing us clearances and now matches. Midfield has gone to shit since he's come back.

His tapwork is awful and he gets dominated physically by opposition rucks. He can't even break even.

He is not a good ruckman and the occasional mark around the ground does not change that.

Cox is better, pure and simple.

Has been copping a lot of flack, but I reckon he's outperformed O'Brien and English and at worst curtailed Witts over the last three weeks. He is our number 1 ruck. Cox sometimes has better tap work, but is behind in most other aspects.

Well he did have a significant knee injury, so in terms of “form” I don’t really think he’s been out of it for very long.

He was a little under done when he came back but he is picking it up now and that is what we want to see going forward.

DC hasn't been clunking marks the same as he was last year. But hopefully it's just about his touch, considering he was out for 6 weeks or so. If he can gain that ability to drag down those marks heading into finals it'll be great for us.
He's been OK without being great. This week could be a good one to get back that form.

His work to nullify good opposition ruckmen has been impressive. Has done great jobs recently against English and ROB, and was solid against Witts.

His role is a bit different this year. Much more of a pure ruck, less shots on goal (which, given he's forgotten how to kick one, is a good thing).

I’m just as concerned about IQ. It’s the 1 element of his game that’s let him down this year. Always love it when guys like IQ, Noble, Maynard and Howe come bursting the the midfield and blaze from the arc. He’s had a few opportunities this year and hasn’t bother the scorers I don’t think.

Fair effort from him last night. Rucked the entire game and only had 9mins on the bench.

He didn’t do much around the ground, obviously because he was spent, but to ruck that long so that Frampton stayed in the backline and McStay up forward was important for the team structure with Moore off.

I actually thought it was his worst game of the season. No marks, no impact around the ground.

There are some calls for Cox to replace him, however I do think with the 1 ruck plan, I just can't see Cox being able to play 90% game time at AFL level in the ruck consistently.

Darcy, you're a premiership ruckman!

Our Cox/Cameron 2 ruck system was instrumental to our success this season and once again it got us over the line in the biggest game of the year.

Really happy for him as he has stuck with it and gone from Sydney castoff to a Collingwood flag. Remember when it was "Will Cox or Cameron be our ruck?" "How long can we persist with these two?" "Who cares, neither will be in our next flag side."
