Will be super in interested to see where he ends up. I'd assumed he would replace Otten in the team, but with your big blokes upfront already is he maybe good enough to slot straight into the spot Lever left?Nah no way. This bloke is almost the size of TeX (192.9cm), he would start AFL as a third tall at either end, maybe running through the middle VERY briefly.
He comes straight in for an injury to any tall forward other than Jenkins, and if Poholke isn't smashing the door down, Greenwood too.
He is big, yes, but his fitness needs to improve and we have a tall forward line as is unfortunately.
Gov fit would replace otten. I see fogarty as a backup for walker and gov if they get injured and a long term replacement for walker. Will be super in interested to see where he ends up. The bloke who said he wanted to play for Collingwood, and got there at 30ish?There is a fair bit of talk going around about Fogerty interviewing poorly about the possible go home risk.
Maybe he tanked the season and not just his interviews.
Now I fully expect an AFL investigation that takes away our two first rounders next year as punishment.
IMO, no. Something likeDo we send McGovern back to levers spot and slot the Fog in the forward line?..
This was my exact first thought. Thanks Charles. You guys know what makes this selection so good?
We traded cameron for fogarty kekekekeke
Given the way port used the pick they got from Brisbane, this becomes roughly.....Even better? It was Ports pick originally.
wherever the **** he likesSo what position does Fogharty actually play?
Yes please.Welcome. Lets hope he comes on quick so he can take Jenkins spot.
At the u/18 champs he played as a key forward with very limited time in the midfield. He struggled. It only came known afterwards that he was struggling with injury. He was one that I watched closely. There were a couple of games where SA could really have done with his power and explosiveness in the midfield but they just left him up forward. He definitely has the potential to be a gun mid and not just a fwd target. So what position does Fogharty actually play?
Well really we got Fogarty for Charlie ......who we would have got anyway at #10Traded the Flog for 2 firsts and picked up the Fog with a steal.
Happy days
Going by his highlights he could be a swingman with spurts in the middle. Seems really good at breaking the tackle and has a good fend off ala d martin. Seems pretty raw but i reckon he will be a gun in time. His handballs are a bit aggressive which needs to be tidied up and his kicking is pretty good but has some room for improvement. I like his aggression, seems to come naturally and something our team lacks. He actually reminds me of a very raw tall dustin martin that can take contested marks. Lets hope he is half as good. Think we did well.So what position does Fogharty actually play?
Basically Charlie, 16, 35 for Gibbs, 20, 38Well really we got Fogarty for Charlie ......who we would have got anyway at #10
So what did we really lose getting gibbs ? .....
