If true it would be hard to see a deal getting done, i still rate him but his value would be probably at it's lowest right now.

No club will want to pay up for him on exposed form but the Crows would be crazy to let him go cheaply when he absolutely still has the potential.

Keep hearing he's unhappy because of lack of opportunity, but then he spuds it up in the SANFL all season. Right now, he's lucky he got a contract extension in the first place because if he weren't a highly rated early pick, he'd be lucky to get much more than minimum salary next year

Huge potential, but he'd want to be performing soon or he'll never make his way into the 22

Are they still playing him in defense though?

My mail has Port very interested in him.
What would he be worth on the market and would a Ladhams or Frampton go the other way?

If you watch his games at SANFL you will see him providing lead after lead when played forward and none of them honoured, but rather a bomb into the forward pocket. Our forward line patterns have dropped off in the last two years. Thats why he is unhappy. He has been poorly handled.

Fair call, haven't had the chance to see much of him so was relying on second hand info

I'm sure he has trade capital but would be worth far more on the field to the crows. I've not seen a great deal of SANFL but the games I've seen him in at AFL level he didn't look out of place.

Can't see the crows parting with him

I wouldn't mind looking at him for us Cat...

Personally think he’s a plug and bide your time type. Has obvious weaknesses but still worth his weight in physicality and will still give you a goal or two a game. Seconds development will do nothing for him.

up until 2 weeks ago he was played out of postition at SANFL level. dont blame him but i hope the club tells him "stiff $ hit"
i wouldnt trade him

There would be some teams willing to give up a second round pick. Probably overs on his output to date, but he isnt entirely useless.

Means nothing but he was a cats fan as a kid, would love it if we went after him

Why did he Specificly instruct clubs before the draft he wanted to stay in SA ?

Zero percent chance he ends up at Geelong. Zilch, Zippo, Zero. For one thing, you just don't have the draft picks and/or young players to trade for a player under contract for 2 more years.

I think you are also talking Bollocks about him being a Cats fan as a kid (anyhow rarely do players get traded to the team they grew up barracking fof these days)

Think he would be an ideal replacement for Jamie Elliott at The Pies.

Impossible to see how a trade gets down though, unless it involves Brodie Grundy (which I strongly doubt)

1. https://www.afl.com.au/video/2017-11-18/u18-who-is-the-worst-sledger skip to 0:56 if you wanna see him say he went from Geelong as a kid.
2. Read the first 2 words i said "Means nothing" I know that him going for cats doesnt mean he'll request a trade there.
3. Cats could potentially have 3 firsts round picks at the table depending if Tim Kelly leaves.

Not disputing the rest of it but if he told clubs he would only play for an SA club he'd get sanctioned and possibly banned from the draft. Ben King copped a warning for only implying that he wouldn't be eager for the suns

I should say, he (allegedly) told Vic Clubs before the draft that he wouldn't sign a contract extension and would go home in 2 years time.

I also doubt the Crows would let an another disgruntled young player go soon after Lever and McGovern, would be a PR disaster for the club.

If anything, this could actually result in Don Pyke getting the flick, so it could work out for AFC fans (assuming they keep Fog and this rumour is actually true)
