Gees Im gonna have to spell out my poor attempt at humour arent I despite it being incredibly obvious. This post was actually about something you posted 3 days ago. Not 3 years ago.

We were all fine with posters endlessly comparing Stephens to Corey but as soon as they started to compare him to Lang you wanted to shut that discussion down and told everyone to take all Lang talk to this thread instead. So I did only to find that you compared Lang to Corey. Like really compared. Like a little more then most of us wanted to imagine. Lang is Corey, Stephens is Corey, but Stephens can not be Lang.

But in any case ignoring all this how exactly do we work out whether anyone was right about players or long term strategy if we dont look back at least 3 years into the past. We need to encourage more historical reflection. How else do we know if people actually know their stuff? Plus its funny to look at.

Is cooper stephens more of a keeper then darcy lang? Or is he just another darcy lang? A keeper that even carlton didnt want to keep.

Time will tell. I think Lang is still in play at Carlton but not really sure what you are getting at here ?? Raw version of Cooper Stevens should be allowed to demonstrate his wares before being tossed into the wind.
