If he's avoided surgery then hopefully that means it's not a tendon. It looked like a fairly serious tear though so even if not as bad as first thought I reckon 4 weeks out as a minimum, more likely 6.

I don't know why she is held in such high regard on the internet community, especially between Collingwood supporters who she gets "info" wrong about more than anyone.

I'm sure she's a great person and all, but seriously she is off the mark so much it's not funny.

I was actually referring to the last 3-4 things mentioned by her that were apparently locks to happen that never eventuate.

It happens. If I went by that, I would not listen to 3AW, SEN, Herald Sun, Footy Shows, 7, 9, 10 News or Balmy's Blackmores injury update. Things change, severity changes, players change their minds. We don't throw everyone away because they get something wrong. I am sure you have said things that are wrong before, and if you haven't, you don't put your opinions on the line enough. She is closer to the AFL than we are. She actually has proved she speaks to players and people in AFL circles. If you prove you do too, I will start to listen to you more.

Agreed that everyone does make errors from time to time.

The journos generally make things up as they go I guess.

I was initially mucking around from another thread that Paige said Moore was debuting but it didn't happen.

You have no idea how close some people are to the AFL or Collingwood in particular.

I have nothing to prove to you so listen to what ever you want to listen to.

How long does a friggin scan take to come back? My oh my golly gosh, I can get my lungs scanned and rock up to the GP the ver6 next day.

IF they did get the scans back, wouldn't he have gone in for surgery already?

Don't know if you missed it, but looks like the scans have come back. Channel 7 reported that he doesn't require surgery.

Scans come back instantly.....eg when you get an xray\ct scan\etc. The club just doesn't always disclose that info

Used to, and Facebook, but those that correct her tend to get banned from her social media accounts. Funny how things work out for the best sometimes.

I'm not sure she is all that highly regarded, but she is somewhat unique as far as Collingwood gossip goes, and has a captive audience of Collingwood fans desperate for information.

One step further in what sense? One step beyond posting opinions and speculation to posting/tweeting those opinions as fact? Not something to get jealous of.

People on here are constantly putting their opinions on the line. They aren't saying they are facts sourced from "industry insiders" which will come to fruition, before they don't. People in AFL circles talk a whole heap of shit, because it suits their purposes to do so in terms of spreading misinformation to rival clubs, and because divulging privileged information to people on twitter for general consumption is a great way to get your arse fired.

True, but to be fair it normally takes a few hours for a radiologist to report on them. Club doctors are probably pretty handy at looking at MRI's, I grant you.
