Darcy moore hamstring :(

Maybe the westpac centre ground is having a slight effect on their injuries? Our school runs cross country training there and personally it hasn't been the most comfortable sessions

My biggest concern is how high he grabbed his hamstring.

Don't think this will be the conventional 3-4 week injury.

Looked alot worse than Dal Santo's.
Wouldnt be surprised to see him miss 10-12.

Fingers crossed.
Club are reporting the physios think its not too bad, but scans will confirm. Fingers crossed they're right

Relax guys he did a hammy not a knee

Well we had Freeman and Marsh have Hammies and they where out for a very long.

Though I guess it could of been worse

It's sad to see Darcy do his hamstring but I wouldn't want him in the seniors this early. For a player of his height to be competitive in the AFL he needed more size to him, so he wasn't going to debut anytime soon in my opinion unless frost or Brown went down. Worst case is he misses some match practice but that's okay, it's visible that Darcy excels on the field with his positioning and smarts. I think putting on some upper body strength and size quick is now a realistic goal and this isn't as bad as first expected. Although an injury is an injury and that's no good.

Then why was he Emergency last 2 weeks in the AFL IF he is not Ready Yet?

I'd like this to be looked at if only to cross it off.

They could have paralysis, been blinded, or they could even have died. Missing an entire season through injury is generally about as bad as it gets in football.

Hey guys, just wondering where we can find the VFL game replay?

Just waiting for De Goey to get a long term injury in the next few weeks for the complete sweep.

Next thing you know high pick draftees won't want to be selected by Collingwood for fear of having their careers ruined through injury....

For what it's worth Eddie said on thge radio this morning that at this stage he looks likely to miss a couple of weeks but they are waiting on the scan results today.

That sounds like you are sober. You are funnier when your drunk!

I really don't understand how this injury is anyone's fault.

You have three choices:
1. Davoren
2. Buckley
3. God

I dont have the third option because I'm an atheist, although that line of logic doesnt always operate in BF. Now some might choose Davoren but I find it a little unappetising. I just dont get the level of satisfaction out of the blaming, that I get when I blame Buckley.

I've blamed buckley for a number of things, not limited to footy. I've said previously that I blamed my marriage break-up on him. However, I used him for other things like bouts of gout, which have been directly linked to his lack of coaching skills.

In the final analysis, you have to pick the person who suits you, although a couple of favourites listed above provide a great deal of relief from life's ills....

It was high up the leg though, Riewoldt did one like that and missed the season. Freeman is another example.

Getting into unjustified negative territory there TG. Can we at least wait on the scan before we write his entire season off?

Not unjustified at all, VP. Darcy's fate has been read, in the entrails of a goat...
