Darcy moore hamstring :(

Moore will remain on the sidelines after suffering a hamstring injury in round two of the VFL against Essendon at Windy Hill.

Continuing a similar theme to last week’s update, Balme reaffirmed the injury isn’t as bad as it originally looked.

“It’s not as bad as we thought it could have been,” he said.

“We’ll be conservative with it and take our time. He’s been walking around pain-free so he’s in pretty good shape. But it’ll still be medium term before he plays again

Gone from Long Term to Medium Term in 1 week:thumbsu:

Thanks Dave.

So Dr Bradshaw thinks a return is likely at about the "6 week mark". Not sure if that means from the date of injury or now. At least another 4-5 weeks at least it sounds like.

Yeah - he won't be back until some time after the 1st VFL Bye and maybe a few more weeks

Is it me or does Moore need to pull his head in a big in terms of confidence? That interview with the new 3 signing, I don't know, just seem to me that he needs to shut up a bit ?..

Why?

The Best ever Forwards where Arrogant and Very Sure of themselves.

Did not worry me how he came across

I thought that a little, but I reckon it's OK. He and de Goey are mates from underage footy, and most of his joking around was with Jordan.

Was a touch of JDG and Rama being serious and not joining in that made him look slightly silly, but no big issue.

He did look like he had a big head, literally not metaphorically, next to the other two though.

I think what you saw was a 19 yo kid. I don't think it was so much about having a big head but more about a kid enjoying himself. A maturity thing.

I thought he came across as intelligent and articulate with a big personality. A natural leader!

Comes across as a little cocky, but doesn't really bother me.

I can understand that he would rub some people the wrong way though. That type of personality is not everyone's cup of tea.

The Players in the Comp have been bit on the Cocky Side but don't over do it

Yep - Love that he is happy to chat and have fun.

As you say be a dead Boring Interview.

I love when he said he is "Going No Where":D

Reckon he'll have plenty of people ready to stomp on him of he ever did get too over the top.

Would be an obvious trap for him - son of a club legend, high draft pick etc. But everything we've read and seen of him suggests he's a pretty grounded kid who listens and is respectful.

Imagine a kid like that acting the goose in front of Bucks or Peddles - they'd get the message pretty damn quick. And if that didn't work, they could always just get Swanny to (genuinely) ask who he was - that would bring you back to earth with a thud!

Yeah - Reports have been that Moore has a Fantastic Head on his Shoulder and would never get ahead of himself

To be honest, he came across as a bit of a tool, but as long as he kicks and stops goals and always has the team and club at the forefront of his mind then that's all that really matters. The natural leader was the exceptionally talented, modest kid in the middle! He's got future skipper written all over him!!!!
