I agree, should be two weeks with a huge warning. A player could easily lose a kidney with that action and he has form. Maynard should also get looked at for shoving a kid into the bench rather than just a Free kick for.

You always see the opposition response with these 'Ooops, sorry, clumsy me' knees into a defenceless opponent on the ground. They're always filthy about it, because it's a cowardly, cheap shot that can do serious damage. It's a big no-no among the playing fraternity. Moore's also happened to be a freebie if there's no further action. A 50m penalty, whoop-de-do, made no difference by that stage.

Compare it to the Carlton players' reaction to the May/Evans bump: there was a bit of the obligatory pushing and jumper-grabbing after they saw the replay, but no real fury like that which accompanied Moore. I think the players realise that - although it may require a suspension - incidents like the May one can happen to anyone when things go a fraction wrong.

Moore deserves a suspension and I think two weeks would send a big message.
