lol lets forget last week and just judge him on this week. Honestly collingwood would have been smart to tell him to play like a crab, who has he got to impress he knows he's coming here, everyone else does, may as well throw it

Why are people posting Stupid Posts about he is a rookie Pick:mad:

He Debut in the VFL vs Werribe or Frankston
Jokes Dave, at the expense of the fickle guys on here that base Darcy's worth on his performance week to week rather than looking at his potential for development.

Most of us are well aware that he is a lock for the first round :D

He will be a pie next year & we will more than likely have to secure him with our first round pick. So be it.
Hine will already have an idea where he rates him. I'll back Hine & Rendell to make the right call.

I will ask this to you guys. Which tall forward had a better championship than Moore? None of them dominated.
A few had a good game here & there but were inconsistent just like Moore was. Moore was as good if not better than the others.
McCartin had one good game & missed a couple & was probably the best of the tall forwards. But we got to only see a small sample.
Moore was not far behind. But we didn't see Durdin or Goddard do much & they have been rated highly. Wright was okay without dominating as well.
None of the highly rated talls were dominant in these championships. More than happy to take Moore as our first pick if Dekka sees fit to.
However all the talls will need time to develop. It is extremely unlikely they will have a big impact in their debut year next year. They will all take time & patience to develop.

Very Well Said. None of the Talls would dominate on the AFL Straight Away. If they all get Developed Properly there 3rd or 4th season they will start having a Impact on AFL Games

You don't necessarily draft players on their stats and output - his athletic capabilities are there for all to see - he has huge potential.
Exactly right. Collingwood is also at the top of the tree with development too so I would think that they would draft him based on what they think they could teach him over a few seasons.

Yep, there was one moment today when I just about turned the TV off afterwards because it was all I wanted to see from him. He led out to wing with a defender hard on his back and the ball was kicked slightly above an ideal marking point for a player of his size. Moore jumped while running flat out (3-4 feet off the ground) and clutched the mark above his head, landing back on the ground with the ball cleanly. Yes, straight afterwards he confused himself and didn't deliver the ball forward quick enough, but even when he was called to play on he found a team mate 20 metres sideways with a pass.

It's moments like that that recruiters look at, not an overall game or even an overall carnival, especially when it comes to tall players who take longer to develop into AFL level players.

Im not on board with him. Kicked three joe the goose goals last week and did nothing today.

Will back the club in though if they do decide to use a 1st rounder on him.

Spot On Matty.

Shifter on TAC CUP FUTURE STARS calls that a Moment where you just see something that is Elite and then you say if they can repeat that at VFL/AFL Level

that highlights package shows what we are buying; a fast, athletic, tall, attacking, CHF who can mark, kick, run, get ground ball, and leads from the front. 199cm, 93kg, Collingwood in his blood, what the hell more could you want?
