He'll kick 6oo goals this year.

I think he'll definitely get to 500 by mid year when we're 11-0 but our second half of the year fadeout might cost him the extra 100. Time will tell..

Never seem so much pressure on a second year player at our club then is currently being put on Moore...

Grundy had a ton of Pressure in his 2nd season as we De-Listed Jolly for him to be the No 1 Ruck

20-30 would be fantastic for Moore. He will be 3rd or 4th in line as the go to player inside our 50 behind Cloke, Elliott when he returns and Fasolo. Big forwards usually take a number of seasons th build. Cameron and Hogan have been recent exceptions but we're also the main go to player in the forward line from their 1st season.

I think you would get a better line on Moore looking at the below names and seeing their goal totals early in their career

Hawkins 12,13,34,21,27
Cloke 6, 10, 39
Franklin 21, 31
N Reiwoldt 2, 21, 30
J Reiwoldt 7, 18, 32
T Walker 23, 35
J Kennedy 5, 6, 7, 31
J Dahiher 3, 28, 34

It's possible Moore get 40 but somewhere in the 20's is likely. 30 would be a great season
Ta for the stats. Interesting that only Walker and Franklin bettered 30 in their 2nd year.

My prediction would be 25 to 40 goals but he'll only average around 8-10 possessions. He just has to get those possessions close to goal. He's a very nice shot at goal.

If he can average around 8 possessions and over a goal or 2 a game, I'd take it.
1.5 goals a game for a key forward is not a massive ask...
On the surface it doesn't appear a massive ask but when you're asking that of a 2nd year KF it's a different matter. Should he do that, he sits with the likes of Franklin and Walker with their 2nd years. Pretty rare air.

True but really his second year was his first with us.

Just think this kid needs to be allowed some breathing room to make mistakes, which he probably will.

Definitely. He will make many mistakes. He will also learn much from them.

He will also give us more metaphoric boners than any youngster has in a long while.

Please, sir, I want some MOORE!!!!

And he Learns Quickly

He is the real deal: marks, chases, tackles, concentrates, can kick goals, plays the ball.
On his way to being a champion, love his attitude too, good temperament.

I reckon if he keeps up efforts like last night it should be seen as a "breakout" season... Even if he only stays around 1 goal/game, with a few marks.
I cant see him having a Hogan/Stringer like "breakout" year with 40-50+ goals (thats not gonna happen for a while with Moore, IMO), but I do expect him to compete hard every single game and keep his opponent under a heap of pressure. But he can be just as useful to our forward line by playing his role, making the most of 50-50's, breaking packs open to get the ball to our smalls and just keep making the smart decisions in play.
If he does those things (and i think he can/will) then i will consider a great 2nd season even without the individual numbers.
