Squiggle tips Saints at 51% chance -- What's your tip? -- Team line-ups »
Strange that they threw him forward with 5 minutes to go in the 7th quarter. I don’t mind the thought process as Cameron and Cox were looking very static and providing little but at least give him a decent amount of time forward
Look I was happy with them moving him forward but why bother with 5 minutes left in the last quarter in a unofficial game?IF we have to throw a Defender Forward Moore should be the One.

If you want to see how he goes up forward why not give him 20 odd minutes up there
Just found it strangeWho knows. It was nothing worth taking note of
Just found it strange
Already had Cox Lynch and Willson forwardWell the Game was nothing serious.
Only thing I can think is that Cox,Lynch and Cameron where done for the Day

All the intensity was out of the game. I think they just decided very late to make the moveIn the US NFL Teams practice plays specifically designed for the Two Minute Warning

GF extra time?Maybe they think Moore can be a seventh quarter specialist. You always need pinch hitters late in the game!!!
GF extra time?
I tend to agree, but the scoreboard said there were to be 8 'quarters' or periods. I'm not sure that it was clear to Collingwood that the game was necessarily going to finish in 5 minutes. I suspect they thought there were still 15mins to play (8th period of 10 minutes to come), which better fits with your expectations (and common sense) that we'd have learnt more if we saw him there for more time.
I don't know what the instructions were for the day, but Lynch, Cox and Cameron didn't move up the field enough to offer a marking target. Hence we had to slowly chip the ball around to move it up the field. You could see last night why Mihocek is such an important part of our team structure. He presents along the wings all day.
Cameron, Cox and Lynch don't work hard enough and don't stand up and impose themselves upon the marking contest. I think we could actually do with more time in the gym to bulk up some of our players. That's why DeGoey is so dangerous. He stands his ground and keeps his feet well and holds marks, but also has the ability to pounce on a ground ball if it does come to ground. These taller guys can't do either.
You may be right Dave. But my reasoning explains why Darcy would be thrown up forward for only 5 mins at the end. It makes no sense otherwise to do so unless you thought we still had another 10 mins to play, which was the plan as communicated over the scoreboard.I say players where getting Tired and Fitness Staff told them to Stop
I agree with all of what you are saying, but being there it felt like we called it early as a group of Carlton players started doing sprints and then went into a match simulation drillI tend to agree, but the scoreboard said there were to be 8 'quarters' or periods. Ten news said the Bulldogs and Tigers are chasing. When aren't the Dogs after him?
I don’t understand your question.Ten news said the Bulldogs and Tigers are chasing. When aren't the Dogs after him?
Well they chased him last year before signing Keath and Bruce and bid for him in his draft year.I don’t understand your question.
