We are suddenly the team nobody wants to play in the finals. We could beat any opponent but I doubt we can back up 4 weeks in a row. We may do some damage along the way though.

My lid is well and truly on.

We are still a young side in many respects regarding experience and I think if we make a prelim this year we have far and away exceeded our expectations. My main goal is just to win our first final. If we do that I will be happy with a semi appearance this season. Our young fellas have been given a taste and been exposed to finals experience.

Having said all that

In finals there is no limits place on elite standards!

Im not sure with Freo. I would like our chances with a fit and strong team and if they have some injury issues.

Been playing with the ladder. It is possible for us to have back to back WA games - Eagles. ffs

Then the Hawks in the GF.

Wow. It would rate as the greatest premiership ever, beat Tigers in W1 at AO,Freo in W2 in Perth, Eagles in W3 in Perth, Hawks in W4 at the MCG.

Would like the Eagles in a semi. That little bit of we smacked you last time around might come into play. And Freo in a prelim would be doable. So yeah, that's the better side of the draw for me (assuming Hawks win first week).

I was very disappointed in our game against the Dogs at the Dome earlier this year, so to was Walsh. Would be fitting to correct that mistake the players made and then bow out in W2.
