Have finished... Personally, the start of the season was amazing. But really started to fall apart at the end, disappointing way to finish the season tbh.

Watched the first four eps today. Can't say I am massively impressed. Twists have been pretty predictable. Punisher is yet another character motivated by dead women/family, snooze. Plot has dragged along bloody slowly at times. The really extreme elements of violence have been pretty gratuitous (as opposed to mostly serving a purpose in terms of characterisation etc. like in the first season). Stairwell fight was great though.

Hoping things pick up a bit for the remainder of the season. JJ has significantly upped expectations.

Its a pretty established fact you dont really like the show. I dont think anyone is surprised by this

I never said I disliked the show. I just think it's pretty overrated on this forum, particularly by the comic book weenies.

It's good mindless fun in a lot of ways.

Depends on the subject. It's not a knock on anyone to say that, as a rule, the majority opinion is generally a fairly uneducated opinion.

I have never understood people who seek to legitimise their opinion on a particular issue by citing the number of people who agree with them. There are few things in this world that the majority of the population are experts on. Seems to me to be a fairly insecure mindset.

Finished up today - I'd have it behind Jessica Jones in overall quality terms, but still really enjoyed it.

Spoiler: Everything

- Bernthal and Yung were both fantastic. Hope the talk of a Punisher standalone is correct.
- Stairwell, prison and rooftop fights.
- D'Onofrio is still an absolute boss - scene in the prison after Frank escaped was awesome.
- Like how the TV universe is starting to come together - Hogarth hiring Foggy, references to Luke Cage. Be interesting to see how it call works towards the Defenders - particularly who out of Fisk or the Ninjas winds up as the eventual big bad.
