PS: Deborah Ann Woll is...Shes, like, a unique kind of hotness. Shes a fox, in some way, but shes also just seems like an every day girl. And her eyes, damn her eyes are crazy.

I loved her in True Blood but shes been even better in this.

That is her maturing my friend.

Very nice indeed.

Finished the last one!

So, enjoyed it, yep. Scratched the itch. Figured they'd kill Electra, not overly surprised that the Hand is going to revive her, will be interesting where that goes. There was a few...awkward scenes that just felt weird. Like Stick killing whatshisface right at the end in front of all the cops. The General turning out to be The Blacksmith (right?) was a bit of a surprise at least.

Part of me REALLY wanted Jessica Jones to make a quick cameo in the last episode, but not to be. But her legal chick friend did! So theres that. And they did name drop her at least!

All in all, enjoyable and keen for Luke Cage, JJ2 and Iron Fist. Hope Punisher gets his own series (I think he is?) And I think they wanted Electra to as well? Dunno how that'd work.

I recommend locking them out of the room, turning the lights off and watching all four final episodes in a row.

:D

Problem is I watch stuff with my kids too.

Not enough time in the day, especially with a 14 month old haha

I'll get there

Just finished. Up and down. Thought Elektra was just a fantastically drawn character until Episode 8, which completely undermined all her development - which only went downhill with all the Black Sky nonsense. On the other hand, Punisher started out as a pretty boring character but they did some great work in the last few episodes, to the point where he was probably my favourite of the season. Foggy and Karen were also much better characterised this season compared to the one dimension they got last time.

In terms of themes, I didn't really like the hacky 'kill/don't kill' vigilante debate (it's been done a million times) and bringing all the wacky mystical elements into the show's setting. I thought the first season's exploration of Daredevil's Catholicism was a lot more interesting and fresh, and I preferred the more grounded nature of the crimefighting.

Overall I had a lot of fun watching the show, but jeeze, it's not very subtle or sophisticated. I thought a fairly unsatisfying finale, complete with an entirely predictable fridging, was sort of emblematic of the show's problems.

Finished!

Really enjoyed this season, loved the chemistry with all the main players. Really enjoyed Jon's portrayal of The Punisher, outstanding job. Interesting to see Elektra reborn, I assume as Black Sky? Next seasons new Villain? I was certain Karen picked DD when he felt her face in the hostage situation? And Im sure Frank knew who DD was - look at his reaction when he hears Matt speak at the hospital. He no fool is our Frank. His final reveal was a little underwhelming for sure.

Anyway I really enjoyed, as did the missus so a nice escape from reality :) 4 Biggie Stars out of 5

Up to episode 8 on this and a couple of things:

Pretty good so far, Elektra is fiiiiiinnnne.

But two things on ep 8 in particular. They talked this DA up but man is she bad. Like not even first year law acceptable.

And this line from Foggy to Matt:

Foggy: Did you read the notes from Schoonover and Lee?
Matt: Yeah

WHAT!? Were the notes written in braille? Re watched it to see a hint of sarcasm. None could be found.

But yeah, still like the show.

Daredevil really has great fight choreography compared to other shows out there (cough, Arrow)

Whats Arrow? Is that the one about the blonde hacker and her friends?

Daredevil can read text with his fingers he only has brail so people think hes blind

Enjoyed this season. Especially the fight scenes. Thought the Punisher storyline was well done. Would have said the same for the Elektra one, though I thought it fell apart near the end.

Looking forward to the next season. Whenever that is. Hopefully it's more Fisk/Punisher than Hand.

I liked it. A few issues which others have mentioned. Is the filming of this show really, really dark?

Unfortunately we're curtainless for the moment and i found a lot of scenes hard to see. Sadly it didnt cause all my other senses to develop to super hero levels though.

I know theyre setting thw mood but is it too dark, or is it just my situation?

Maybe... but ive been watching it curtains drawn, lights off in the dark for added effect :D

The only way to experience daredevil is to blind yourself so you're immersed in Matt's world

Once you go Matt
you can't go back
