Do I need to rewatch Daredevil Seasons 1-3? It's been a loooong time.
One of the greatest TV shows ever but it'll take forever.
Or just dive back into this?
Season two was the worst, I swear they finished an episode, realised it was about 30 minutes, and just decided to pad it out with pointless Daredevil vs Ninja fight scenes to get to their 50 minute benchmark.Does this still have the overlong verging on boring fight scenes?

Season 2 was undoubtedly the worst but if you don't like the one shot corridor style fight scenes then maybe it isn't for you in the first place.
I think that's a bit unfair because it's not like you're saying 'If you don't like comic book shows then this isn't for you in the first place' we're talking specifically about a stylistic choice to make the fight scenes unnecessarily long.
I think it's a mostly fair comment, because one of the main reasons people liked Daredevil on Marvel Netflix is the long fight scenes.
Season one was fine and there was lots of good fight scenes, but if you don't think by season two they were mostly just there to pad out time and became a quantity over quality thing then I dunno.I think it's a mostly fair comment, because one of the main reasons people liked Daredevil on Marvel Netflix is the long fight scenes.

People liked the GOOD long fight scenes, the hallway scene, the jail scene, the final fights, etc
Nonetheless I watched for the characters, the story, and the style of the show, but seeing those characters trying to movie the plot forward only for a roadblock of a dozen baddies again, was a little tiresome for a series with hour long episodes.

The trick is in how do you keep them apart and keep things interesting.Murdoch and Fisk is definitely the core of the show, Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio just bounce off each other so well.

Solid ep.
Loved Matt taunting the dirty cop during the cross examination. "In boxing they say the best cure for a black eye is fast hands" whoever put that line in the script deserves a raise.
I was hoping to see a white tiger/daredevil team up towards the end of the season as I thought the character would just stay retired for a bit until Matt needed his help. RIP to the actor who played him and the character, shame we never got to see him in action. A nice little touch in the end credits they didnt play any music just the tree frog whistle he talks about in the first scene.
As for that ending, Frank is not going to be happy.....well angrier than normal.
No way that'sFrank in the Punisher gear
It's not. Noticed the skull tattoo's the NYPD have on their wrists/neck? That's all I'll say
Really enjoyed The White Tiger actor's performance.
This series is missing the cinematography of the early season under Netflix but the writing and story so far has been brilliant.
