cool, i have a bit to check out.

what does everyone think of coph nia? personally didn't really enjoy them.

kammarheit are quite good.

crash injury trauma by BK Isolrubin is quite good too. (It's Lustmord again)

coph nia is pretty good if you like spoken word/poetry da

if you like kammarheit check out Inade

I wonder if you could help me locate an ambient project. To be honest though, i remember being interested in it due to the name of the album, but now that escapes me. But IIRC, it was released in the early to mid 90's and it was the artists only album. Also, album had 5 or 6 words in the title. One of them was POSSIBLY universe. although i wouldnt base it around that, it could be wrong. Also, IIRC, there were absolutely no vids on youtube, so its possibly the most obscurest of ambient projects. lol

edit: also, know of any sites which give details on upcoming ambient shows?

Was it ambient, or dark ambient? ritual (chanting etc) ? classical or electronic ? If i have some more info i can probably hunt it down, if it is dark ambient and high quality i almost certainly have it

i think i found it. :D

The Dull routine of existence by Beyond Sensory Experience.

Although they were formed in 2001.

Would have been dark ambient. Got anything around the early to mid 90's that was a one-off? I'm probably mistaken and it was BSE, which is sounding pretty ****en good so far anyway! (although im listng to a different BSE album to the one i mentioned)

edit again: have added Inade to my library, will check them out tomorrow

BSE certainly have more than one release, i reckon i've got at least 6 or so

New Dark Age is one of the best DA albums ever imho. Dahlias Tear are great too. Hadn't heard Ulf Soderberg before, unless under a different name

Haven't ventured into this genre for ........ almost 30 years now.

So much of the sounds take me straight back to Tangerine Dreams, "Zeit"
Not too much has changed then, which isn't a bad thing for such a niche genre.

I dunno if Tangerine Dream are *dark* ambient but they were awesome. I have 3 or 4 albums and it's good stuff and so is Eno but it's more traditional ambient

This may just change your mind then.
Probably their only album that ventured deep into this territory before they became more rhytmic and accessible.

Only been listening to DA very sporadically of late, but I always keep track of the Cyclic Law and Malignant Records sites for some new releases.

By the way, it wasn't Beyond Sensory Experience that i was after. :o

I just happened to stumble upon it again. It was the album 'Cancelled Earth' by Cities Last Broadcast. Anyone have that?

I have something or some stuff by CLB but not sure what. I'd have to check

edit: yep it's cancelled earth
