I like the AV Club but they have about three good writers and a bunch of mediocre writers. If you've ever read a Nathan Rabin review you will finally be able to accurately define mediocrity.

I have a similar nose, & mine makes that shape when smiling too. It looks different in the first one because his head is upturned slightly & he's not smiling, in the second his head is slightly turned down & he is. You clearly weren't paying attention in nose school. It's the same dude

Any 'comedian' that relies on shocking the audience with garbage like that must really be struggling for material. It's not even funny anyway. Probably looking for some exposure.
 
Just my 2 cents- I was in Denver only a couple of weeks ago, stayed with a friend there. Such a beautiful, awesome city, was absolutely gob smacked when I saw the news of what happened (was in London then). My friend lives in a "nice" area of the city, is alot of young professional types there. But then on the other hand she told me gangs are becoming more of an issue- and this policewoman got shot and killed in a "safe" area of town just recently. And now this happens.

Just crazy... the Americans and their ****ing guns over there... i had a conversation with some Americans another time i was there. They could not believe i had never owned a gun in my life, nor that most of my friends and family wouldnt own guns. They are gun mad... they also couldnt believe Howard banned semi automatic weapons after Port Arthur.

Anyway, im blabbering on. Very sad, hope this coward gets what is coming to him in prison. If he makes it there.. they´ll probably plead insanity.

See im travelling overseas atm so out of the loop when it comes to news n stuff. Obviously i found out about this, but not the follow up news to it.

Lol at Dane Cook. I don't even have a problem with someone making a joke about it, cos after all... that's what comedians do, but the joke is extremely shitty, and to say the Dark Knight Rises is crap when you've starred in Good Luck Chuck is a bit embarrassing.

I remember some stand up comedian, can't remember who it was, that said there are no boundaries in comedy and you can make jokes about any taboo subject as long as the joke is funny, if you make an unfunny joke about a taboo subject then you're in trouble as people just get offended and don't laugh. The latter would obviously apply to Dane Cook.

I know next to nothing about the legal system but I'm pretty sure it's going to take a long time to pan out. I tried following the case further than the initial two week media frenzy but everything has been 'sealed' by the courts and all interesting stuff on the net about Holmes has dried up.
 
There was an essential copy cat attempt in Missouri over the weekend that was foiled by the kids mother

Cliffs
-Wanted to shoot up Twilight movie, bought lots of guns/ammo
-Kid was off meds, mum knew and was worried and knew about the guns which were similiar to the batman shooting ones, called cops
-Cops found him at a fast food joint, arrested him with no protest
-Said he was worried he didnt have enough ammo so was going to shoot up Walmart instead where he could reload if he ran out
-Said he would walk in and just shoot people at random

Calm down, Ed didn't make it super clear. The judge accepted Home's PLEA of not guilty by reasons of insanity. At the start of each trial a person is asked to plea guilty or not guilty. It just means that the entire case will be focussed on proving whether or not he is sane and not whether or not he did it.
