Before saying anything else let me just say this, the Brisbane side is a tough one to crack and by doing so i guess shows he has some ability. Maybe a little short for AFL but has a good sized body from what i can gather. Would rather his brother but if it is another part of the brother-brother drafting process then it would be a good start. We're a couple of brothers down at the moment so why not start again. Must be worth at least a bit of a look at.

He's a full forward. The reason he only played the one game was because he was on the rookie list and was promoted for a few weeks.

185cm, 90kg, 21 years

Kicked 75 goals to be the leading goalkicker in the AFLQ this season. Thats in an 18 game season.

I dont see why we wouldnt look at him.

Wonder what the difference in standard is between the AFLQ & the SANFL reserves? If not much, it makes you wonder about Jordan Barham again doesn't it?

Sounds OK. I assume the standard of the QAFL is above SANFL reserves? Because if it isn't then he hasn't a prayer. But kicking those goals in 18 games and his build augurs well for him. Jordan Barham was a real beanpole at 193cm, 77 kg. At least this bloke is 186cm and 88 kg.

Recall reading posts from some of the Brisbane people earlier in the year where he was rated quite well.
If I recall right some were even suggesting he was a better prospect than his brother, although that is hard to believe.

He certainly sounds promising. If he's anything like his brother [hard nut] then we should definitely look at him. I wouldnt mind catching glimpses of him lurking 'round full forward.

Who knows, it might lead to the eventual appearance of Daniel in a Power guernsey :p

Hopefully Chocco has a good look and a hard think about this instead of letting another good opportunity filter through his fingers. *Low growl*

Don't know if i'd call Daniel Bradshaw a "hard nut" but would be happy if we got the younger Bradshaw as i think he could slot into FF, but i guess at the moment we are backing White to be the FF of the future.

Which, IMO, could be a bit of a gamble, considering he's yet to play an AFL game and he doesnt need the extra pressure. He's talented enough though. Hope it goes well - I'm looking forward to watching him progress.

Just as picking up Bradshaw would be a gamble, just as anything that is ever done in the drafting/trading process is. Luckily so far we seem to have come out on top in most deals.

Just been talking on the Brisbane Board. It seems Darren Bradshaw is physically stronger than Daniel, he can take a mark by outmuscling his opponent but also is a strong leader and takes a lot of uncontested marks. His 1 AFL game was played on the strength of him being very good in the first half of the year and being promoted from the rookie list to replace Damian Cupido. He will be too old in 2003 for the rookie list and Brisbane did not want to promote him again. The game he played, he was on for 5 minutes for 1 clanger(don't know what).

He had time to hand-ball but hesitated, got bumbed and kicked an airy. With Lynch playing on he is unlikely to get a game at Brisbane but is an important part of their QAFL side. His dream is to play along side his brother and, since they kept him, will probably draft him back if they cannot snare a likely heir apparent for Lynch with their early picks. So if you want him Choka better take him early. As for the QAFL, the top sides like the Lions(Unlike here, this is virtually a Lions reserve team and contains their entire list not required for Seniors) and Southport would be competitive against any SANFL team. The gap between top and bottom however, is much wider.
