Just in case anyone read what BluesRules posted and was upset by it, he has been red-carded, and banned permanently from the Collingwood board.
:thumbsu::thumbsu:
I'm all for relaxed moderation however there is a line.

I wonder if the truth about Millane will ever see the light of day ..
I think if society was more accepting and tolerant of what Millane was, perhaps this tragedy could have been avoided ..
The man went through more internal pain and suffering and torment then probably any modern day footy player I Can think of

Early 1990s was hardly the dark ages, but clubs were not doing much for the welfare of their players, especially off the field. Perhaps what celtic pride was saying that in the current culture where we are all aware of things like depression (not saying Millane had that) and the extent clubs do to educate the players and provide support for them, that things may have been different with Millane.

******** milane stayed off the gas during the season starting from 1989, dont start talking rubbish about his personal whatever. Yes milane drank during the off season but christ i get tankes on my holidyas now spred your rubbish elsewhere

Why is he a moron? He has expressed a view saying that Millane was going through a lot a that stage. You my friend are very dim and narrow minded. This 'celtic pride' character has said nothing wrong at all.

By stating that he wonders if the truth will ever see the light of day he is implying that there is a conspiracy theory to why he died.

Does that imply a view on why Millane died??? No. It implies that he is privy to some shocking information and that no other modern day footballer would have been going through that internal pain and suffering.

What a load of bollocks!

The bloke is a legend, a classic Australian larrakin but a bloody ******** to drive pissed however there was no big dark secret... this is not the bloody Diana inquest!!!

I think you're being a bit tough on celtic_pride - There certainly is a lot of anecdotal evidence that Darren Millane had a fair few things in his past that no one, including himself, would be proud of.

He almost certainly did have some issues off the field, but that said, it doesn't sully the man or his memory at all.

If celtic_pride was being serious then you are correct and I apologise to him. I took it as slander though, perhaps unjustly however his implications of something very dark under the surface made me angry.

bloben chuck those blinkers in the bin mate. I think celtic pride was talking more on the fact that clubs these days may of managed millane better and the tragedy may never of happened. Not being smart bloben but how old are you?
