The difference is, those names could back it up. Please never compare Pfeiffer to any of those ever again.

All were arrogant when young and could of been flicked for being bigheads, thus robbing us of legends. That was my point wasnt claiming Pfeiffer was in there league.

If West Coast had made a similar decision with Cousins years ago, they wouldn't be in the mess they are in now. Players have responsibilities off field these days and Pfeiffer ignored them too often.

Two points to consider:

1) Pfeiffer is a lot younger than Cousins and was not captain. Although I won't claim to know how serious his issues are, I can't help but feel they could have been dealt with. He was a junior player in the side and would have minimal influence on the rest of the playing group.
2) WCE have won a premiership cup. As much as I value the club's integrity over success, every club has trouble makers and they retained because they perform on the field and these issues can be managed by the club.
