Yep, that too, but I'm still wondering if the teams need to agree to the venue, ie QLD/WA/SA plebs are more likely to be used to the conditions, are trying to sow a few seeds of their own or are happy enough to get us away from home turf. Moot point discussing it in recent years I guess as most teams probably couldn't give a hoot and would beat us anywhere we wanted to play. Should consider moving a game to an ice hockey rink.I think the reason we play the WA teams and Port up there is, they are the low-drawing crowds when we play them in Melbourne and we lose money. So instead of losing money from a crowd of 20,000 or so at the MCG, we make $500,000 from playing them in Darwin.
