I'm a big fan of stats too, but those "effective" disposals at times are bloody decieving. I'm not sure how they categorise them but nothing beats evaluation of a players skill by watching the game yourself.

And to me a possession is a possession. How he wins it, whether he carries the ball, does the team thing etc. is all important too.

He averages 19.3 possessions per game after four rounds. Mind you I assume he was injured early against NSW/ACT (a three possession game), so based on the first three games he averaged 24.6 possessions per game which are good figures.

You are right on that. He was injured in the first 5-10 minutes of the game where he had 1 kick, 2 handballs, a tackle and a mark. Was looking like having another good game on the STATS sheet but was unlucky

Well done dash, made vc side hope he stays healthy over the next few weeks and goes well in games.

Will not be top 5 draft pick height will go against him. Don't think he will go top 30 and a high chance he will not be drafted at all. In my opinion he has not improved dramatically over the last 2 years and may not develop any further then were he is at now. Good player in a side that is not as strong as last years squad and has a history of soft tissue injuries. Currently in Vic Country Squad (dont believe he should be) so it will be interesting to see if he continues to get through on past performances as he has done for the last 3 years. Ive seen him play at least 40 times over last 4 years and I think you have really over rated him and his potential. H e wouldn't even get close to last years top 20 players that were drafted.

No coughing here, still think Dash is a top footballer but don't believe he will go top 30 in draft let alone top 5. Well done on VC team selection, doesn't mean I still don't think he should be there. But then the selectors are making the decisions and not me. The real coughing will begin at draft time and if he makes it, I will be the first to say I was wrong.
