I agree. If this was against one of the lower placed teams sure, so be it. But against Bulldogs, in what could possibily be the wet, is not a good time to bring in an inexperienced player.

Even in the Pre season games he looked lost. I just think he would struggle big time, particularly against the Dogs.

I don't think it is by choice but rather necessity. One of D.J, Tenace, Davenport, Djerkurra or Byrnes needs to come in.

Definitely agree. First month I was thinking WTF happened to Davenport (I was wanting him in my SC team) but last month he well and truely stepped up a gear.

Ignoring the fact that Djidi didn't train with the seniors I would pick Djidi if is is going to be a wet hard at it game and Davers if the sun is shining.

I'd much prefer DJ to play, I don't think with Pris, Kelly and such coming back in (possible), Davers would deliver what we are missing. DJ does that, has defensive presence of mind to put everything on the line to ensure the opposition doesn't get the ball.

I think we need that this week.

Taylor is ok, however I think he will be undone this week due to his lack of mobility against smaller opponents.

Just because he has played 1-2 (I can only remember the PF) good games on Akermanis doesn't mean he should be included.

If you read the article the assumption is that Kelly is injured. If that is the case:

Out Ablett
In: Davenport

Fair enough if Kelly is unavailable, I'd personally go with Gamble but that's just a matter of opinion of course, plus it's a pretty big game to be blooding a new kid.

Tend to agree with you Cattery,Gamble has more strings to his bow at the moment.
Like the looks of Davenport but these two weeks are not the time to throw him in.

Gamble is a full forward, he's not going to get picked to replace a midfielder, with Lonergan and Mooney still both in.
