David Clarke!! How Did He Get A Game?

Hey guys this is my first bit of input for the year and like most other topics, yes its a negative one. I don't care how good David Clarke plays in the VFL he is a dud and always will be. His attack on the footy was as good as I've seen it, but there is no point wasting time with him, when he will always have a minimal impact!

Why not bring through a youngster and give him some experience instead of wasting this spot in the side?

I know his a dud.

But so is Prendagast, he is in our leadership group.

And there are a couple of others that get a game.

One particular thing Carlton lack is pace, Clarke has that. He didn't make any errors on the weekend, and if his at the club, giving 100% at training and in the VFL well than he warrants a game.

Then guys like Davies, Scotland etc. have to lift there game to get back in because Clarke or someone of the likes is playing.

By the way, I prefer Clarke then Prendagast be a mile and a half. If you think Clarke is a ******** kick and turns it over, look at Prenda.

Well mate thats generally the problem with Carlton, Prenda, Clarke, McGrath, Digby, davies, Bannister, Norman, Sporn, Longmuir, Johnson etc.

Our supporters wanted a quick fix and thats what they got, now we've got to rebuild. We now have the chance to pick up some draft picks and blood the youngsters.

We have too many players who are on the borderline and out of those players I've mentioned some supporters will back them and others will think they're duds. No doubting that soon Denis will find the right mix and be able to build a consistent side. Patience my friend!

I agree with you mate. Clarke does have a go and everything and has been going well in the 2's but he's a dud that won't be someone that can help the club in winning a flag. I would rather see some young draftees being given games such as jordan russel and the like as they is what the future of the club is all about.
