Ellard will be doing the job given to him. Do not expect much flare. He will be about doing the business assigned to him. Don't expect the messiah

Fantastic! This guy has really had to earn his chance and work hard for it, has improved out of sight over the last few seasons. Would love to see him follow in the footsteps of Sam Mitchell. I hope we play him in the guts, playing him down back would crucify him. I recon he'll provide us the extra grunt on the ball that only a working class pure footballer can provide. Kick some arse mate!

Reward for consistent form at VFL level. I think many of us thought he was destined to not add to his 1 AFL game, but his form in the VFL has made it virtually impossible for the MC to continue to ignore him.
