I must say this guy did play well tonight. Glad I picked him up in my supercoach for the finals for 100K.

Good win by you blokes. Hurts me to say it, but you looked the goods!

freaking blitzed tonight. will play the rest of the season and will be around next year.

Carlton: Judd, Murphy, Walker, Ellard, Carrazzo, Robinson, Scotland, Curnow

Carlton: Walker 4, Waite 2, Ellard 2, Betts, Garlett, Russell

25 touches, seven marks, seven inside 50's and five tackles.

Hope Ellard keeps proving me wrong. :thumbsu: :)
onya Gen!

Getting Ellard and Curnow for absolute donuts has really helped make up for the apparent McLean blunder. Although Brock was good yesterday. All of a sudden our hard nut inside midfield unit is quite decent.

Davey's best game in the navy blue. A real positive from last night.:thumbsu:

Ellard's most important game yet next week.
every game will be. We know there are plenty of people lining up for a shot at the 22. Well done to Ellard and AJ for giving it a go

Love Ellard. one of my favs after last season. Filthy he hasnt gotten a game till now. A must have for our side IMO. a bit of mungrel and grunt.

I keep doubting him and he keeps proving me wrong. :thumbsu:

Exactly the same with me. I'm always iffy when I see him listed in the team and then he goes out and plays his guts out.:thumbsu:

I personally always feel confident when the little tacker comes into the team. Thing with Davey is you know he will always give 110%, and even if he starts off a little slow and has to spend a little time adjusting to the tempo of AFL you can be sure he will adapt sooner rather than later as he just wont give up.

Thing he always impresses me with is his skills and courage in clutch situations, when you really need that goal (like last night) or someone to hit a target, he can do it most times. One of those players who rise under the pressure. That's how I see it anyway, just something I've noticed the past couple years. I'm a fan :)
