Dean Robinson's lawsuit against Essendon might change that somewhat, but when your players file a class action suit against your club at some point in the future (which I would think is all but inevitable) Essendon might find themselves in a spot of bother.

I don't think the majority of Essendon supporters have grasped how much damage this peptides saga is going to do to their club. The pain hasn't even started and you're already down 4 key employees.

My speculative guess would be to show that he has been treated unfairly compared to Hird. If Hird instigated the supplements program (which Robinson is reportedly going to claim), I would say Robinson would then argue that he deserves to get his contract paid out due to unfair dismissal (or whatever it is he suing for).

Hypothetically assuming Robinson's side of events is true, he would be well within his rights to point out the double standard to claim that he has been treated unfairly.
