I never realized a lack of decency and intelligence were health issues, but thanks for the heads-up. Thankfully we have Essendon supporters on here to show us up from down.

It isn't all faux outrage. Some of us are genuinely disappointed with the state of the season and some of the rhetoric coming from Essendon and the AFL.
But I'm not trying to come up with ulterior motives, or assassinate someone's character based on them giving up their position at the club under obvious extreme circumstances. That's the kind of situation that shouldn't really be made 'light of'.

It reflects poorly on you to be pulling out this line when it starts to go bad. It's hard to see how else this was all going to end, really.
The people running your club have spent so much time worrying about this issue making them look bad.

Bullshit. If he had a possible heart attack, he would have been rushed to the closest hospital and it would have been plastered all over the media. You don't go "out of town" when you have a heart attack at the MCG. You go to the closest hospital.

He skipped town to escape the media pressure, or possibly worse...

It makes no difference what the players say now. They are contracted to EFC and even if they wanted to speak out, it would be difficult to do when you are employed by the people you ant to talk out against.

And even if the players are ok with, Evans was a senior person at the club who had the players in his care (along with Hid), why did he not do the extra yards to make sure the players health were not put at risk by unapproved substances?

Afterall, if you want us to feel for a guy that has ill health affects from this saga, why not call out the guy for letting players be put in positions were they might potentially feel ill health affects from unapproved substances?

Now they expect us to believe that Evans resigned because he was ill? lol how very convenient that he got ill right as the shit was piling up to his eyebrows.

I'm no doctor but going by those symptoms it sounds closer to an Anxiety attack than a Heart attack as some suggested. Normally symptoms of a heart attack is tightness in the chest and the left arm going numb.

If his resignation was really about a health issue I'm guessing it wasn't the first time it happened.
