The only thing that could be considered torn here is reputation and ego. Not sure if AOD can repair that sort of tissue.
Cuddles with Hird might though.

Um, alright.See ya
If this had happened at the start of the story - i.e. if the Chairman, CEO (and the coach) all resigned then - I don't think the whole scandal would have snowballed the way it has over time.
But you are so awesome that your awesomeness oozes out of you and you have given so much to the football community that you are well within your right to keep punching.
I think some anonymous people rightly deserve their own thread because of the contribution to bigfooty is just so good, it really is amazing out of alll the members on bigfooty that they probably all could squeeze in to the MCG in one day
So keep chins up

..and the rats flee the sinking ship. Question for Evans should he lose his directorship for gross incompetence breeding a culture of third world corporate governance.....or maybe he's just a cheat.

Making light of potentially serious health problems is poor form, regardless of your allegiance.
record membership, best facilities in the league, club is flying financially.
I'd happily have him stay (I don't think anyone at the club wouldn't) but he knows better than I his reasons for it, which at this stage look to just be because people outside the club want blood
Wouldn't look good if he just dropped his bundle and left as soon as he found out.
He would have tried to do his best with what information was given him at the time, probably fairly tainted information depending on who he was talking to.
I'm sure in hindsight he would have done things differently but none of us have that chance.
Out of everyone at the club with some semblance of responsibility he was the last one that deserved to go
Edit - scratch all that - Got my Evans mixed up. Carry on
You know what a heart attack is right? There is no way we can claim it wasn't a minor cardiac event
