Someone needs to remember that Essendon brought this on themselves, and that the boundaries they tried so hard to get around by 'doctor shopping', the morals the've shown by allowing Robson to fall on his sword for not knowing what was going on(and Robinson to cop months of speculation while being muzzled), and complete lack of conscience from the head coach who has sat and watched others cop it while he claimed that he would "take full responsibility" is not exactly going to wash with the football viewing public.

The media have been weak in some regards and sensational in others, but it is their job to find out and report just what the hell Essendon were up to in 2012. When blood hits the water(Evans) there's always going to be a fallout, and subsequent heightening of interest and intent from the media who are trying to break that next part of this story.

You might not agree that they should be chasing so hard, but this is big business, sport, it's not something that should just be fobbed off because someone puts their hand up and says "hey, I'm not feeling the best".

There's no justification for badgering people who just want to be able to go about their lives. Camping outside someone's home and knocking on the door to provoke a reaction is bullshit - it would take all my resolve not to go out and belt one of them. Spare us your faux-outrage. Your shame should be reserved for the humans who put your club through this mess in the first place, and used your own players as guinea pigs.

You don't need much more proof of the football media's complete lack of decency. They're out of control, enabled by an AFL and it's reliance on the media $.

I appreciate they'll be vigorous, but again, this is footy. Sometimes they cross the line. Hunting down a sick man like he's some kind of terrorist.

It's not just us. There's other examples. FFS they purchased stolen confidential medical records of hawthorn players a couple of years back to try to get a "story". At the height of Fevs troubles, there were vultures putting cameras in his face at a local park when he was trying to spend an hour with his toddler aged kids. They routinely take advantage of football people in fragile states of mind.

The end doesn't justify the means. It's footy.

Wow, what gall you have to call out people that are not concerned for Evans apparent health problems. ha.

Where is the concern from EFC supporters for the position the players were put in with regards to this 'supplements program' that was apparently a cover for an unauthorized medical trial?

I mean you want us to be concerned with Evan's health, why wasn't Evans concerned enough about his very own players to make sure that no one could exploit them as guinea pigs?
Look at yourself and your fellow EFC supporters, admin staff before you have the gall to call out someone else.
