Yes. It's up to the individual what they want to post. Everyone is bound by the same rules and regulations. if you don't like something, report it.
I will say it again. Essendon supporters have every right to defend their club without fear of being abused or harassed. Vice versa as well.
 
Firstly I wish Evans a speedy recovery and I (as well as many other people) wouldn't want to wish any physical or mental harm to anyone involved in this saga. However what I would like to know is if assuming Evans just had a health scare that wasn't in any shape or form life threatening (like some have said an anxiety attack), shouldn't he just have stepped aside for a period of time until his health issues were sorted out and come back to the club and resumed the role as chairman. It seemed that Evans was quite popular within the club going by player tweets and he did have the full support of the board as of Thursday night so why resign now so close to when the ASADA report is released?

I'm sure any decent person wouldn't get any satisfaction from another human physically suffering from this episode. I know I sure don't.

It is somewhat self-inflicted though. No matter he well intentioned Evans was, he really should have resigned (or stepped aside) from the outset given the severity of the accusations given:

- He is the President and bears ultimate responsibility, regardless of his knowledge/involvement

- His personal relationship with key figure Hird

- His personal relationship with key figure Ziggy

- His personal relationship with key figure Demetriou

- His personal relationship with key figure Kelty

To maintain integrity or even perceived integrity, he simply had to remove himself whilst the investigation is in progress.

His symptoms could be more than a panic attack. If he hasn't suffered them before they would be of great concern. He has also lost a lot of weight during the saga. He also listed other reason so the sum of all these factors seems like a decent reason to step aside.

Aren't you happy? Everyone here was baying for his head anyway

Yeah, if I was Essendon chairman and was confident that the club was in the clear, wild horses couldn't drag me away from hanging in there till judgement day so I could give everyone the bird.

I'll tell you what I'm not happy about. This entire situation that the Essendon Football Club has brought onto themselves and onto the AFL, guilty or not.

the club brought all this on themselves

its not the big bad media, its not the 'foaming mouth breathers' on bigfooty

its the football club that embarked on a pharmacalogical experiment and broke the rules

nobody to blame but themselves.

why are we supposed to feel sorry for essendon?
