just doing some reasearch on him ad in some old articles it speaks highly of him and how we was rank 1 in 20m sprints and verticle leap and was expected to be drafted from 5-15. Then somehow he goes undrafted, wtf. I couldnt find many weaknesses with him excpet some articles saying he just needed to improve his kicking but thats about it so why did he go undrafted? any1 know?

playing in the thirds today would suggest he hasn't proved too many of the good judges wrong to this point:rolleyes:...here's hoping he's a slow burner:thumbsu:
he was playing in the 3rds because there is no room for him in the 2nds. amd the bigger and more experience hughes and schulz are always going to be picked ahead of him.

He's in a crap position at the moment. It's hard to develop at all when you're constantly playing in the 3's. He and Putt seem to play well most weeks but won't get a look in as long as Hughes and Shultz are playing.

I think we will see alot of improvement in both Goo and Putt next year with the probable departures of Sarge and possibly Hughes. Something to look forward to. :thumbsu:

yeah, we need to cut 2 tall forwards from the list. because then not all of them get a go and get developed properly. the more is not the better, as we should be loading up on mids not tall forwards as they will be getting the ball to the forwards and you can have 10+ in a team not 2-3.

Watched him in the thirds today. Had a big 2nd term, kicked 3 great goals. Has a booming left foot kick. Was looking threatening until 5 minutes into the 3rd qtr he chased down a long ball on the wing, took a good low mark but over-stretched and strained his right hamstring. he jogged off and got treatment. At three quarter time I went up to him and asked him about, said he felt it tighten and a sharp pain, knew it wasn't good and said it doesn't feel good at all. On ice, disappointing because he looked like he was having a impact. maybe 2 weeks off, maybe 3. Hope we can give him a shot in the seniors before years end. at 194cm, I want to see what he can offer.

There's a big fella running in the thirds, Morgan or something? Tall defender/utility, very mobile, good hands, was impressed.

when he come back lets put him in the seniors. and try and let him earn a game from there.

Is the surname irish, if it is he would be a champion.
194cm and slippery over 20m and a query over his kicking.
We need to play the kid when fit.Look at the progress of Post, Collins etc. when playing seniors.

Apparently his football skills were questionable, but have come a long way.

He played a few good games in the seniors earlier this year, got a massive wrap, but then injured himself and ended up coming back through the 3rds.
