jod, i think you'' find the des hedland situation to be quite unique. his girlfriend was coming back to WA with their 2 kids even if des stayed. in the end he really didn't have much of a choice.

Definitely has the ability to become one, but isn't there yet.

Obviously Judd isnt at that Cuz/Bucks level just yet but theirs no doubt in my mind that he will get their. IMO if he did go home, he wouldnt be much different than he is now with WC, he would get more attention obviously and it will affect his game, but only for so long before he figures it out, just like Buckley did when he was young, and just like Cuz did back in the late 90's.
 
Haynes was on the market last year - there was a possible trade with St Kilda's 2nd round draft pick but at the last minute neither party was interested.

I'd say Haynes wouldn't be in the 'must sign up' category, but is a needed player for the clubs future.
