Thought the little bloke played a decent game today. Hard to see him getting a permanent position in our side, but am alot more confident that in the future should any injuries crop up (like today) he'll be able to step up and lend us a hand. Good game!

im just wrapped to see him get a game in the 1's for a change. I heard a little whisper at Skilled last week that he wasnt to play senior footy again with the club after his incident before the GF last year....
What a piece of crap that turned out to be.
Good onya DJ....
He is no Dasha but was servicable tonight you'd have to say..
Will probably be out though if Dash can play next week

Oh definetly. Certainly no Dasher. However, before the game I wasnt confident DJ would be any good, considering how long its bene since he has played seniors (close to a full season, if I recall. Bulldogs last year?) but he was decent enough in a tight intense game that makes me think he has earnt at least a decent amount of confidence from fans and match comittee alike.

Although hoiw much does he look like Chapman!! In the third quarter there was a situation where I thought he was Chapman just by look and how hard he ran into the content. Got excited Chappy was back.

I think he had his head shaved and oiled pre game because im sure i saw him in the magoos last week with a few whiskers on the old coconut:D

I was going to start a similar thread.

He's actually a very solid AFL level player. Rarely makes mistakes, good skills and hard at it. Didn't appreciate the 50m penalty he gave away but on a whole it was a solid game. Unfortunately for him, only with further injuries will he retain his place.

Just another example of our depth and that can only be a good thing.

I think it was after Rioli took the hanger. The umpire seemed to signal that dj hung on to him afterwards. Seemed soft but he didn't need to give the ump an excuse...

Very soft as Rioli didn't actually hold the mark so you can't blame DJ for thinking it might be called play on.

1 bad game and your all over players, i hope that was sarcasm coz the amount of geelong supporters i heard bagging our own players was ridiculous. were suppose to be supporters not baggers

Agreed!!
Although i didnt hear our supporters bagging our players from where i sat (5m from Hawthorn cheersquad) last night it really pisses me off when it happens. I'd hate to think we have supporters in the outer like the kind that bag Richo constantly

wasnt that bad except for that 2nd man up attempted spoil on campbell brown but didnt fist it properly and crashed himself and his geelong teammate to the ground whilst campbell nearly recovered the ball before the ball trickled over the boundary line in the dying minutes of the 4th.
