Charlie Gardner and Henry Playfair come to mind as players who couldnt make the Geelong senior side either.

Basically, If you cant make a senior team at one club, no matter how strong they are, you are not up to AFL football.

I wouldn't mind Johnson. We're a bit thin for quality small defenders. Provided Johnson has the wheels to play on pacy small forwards, I'd be all for getting him. It'll allow us to release Marty and/or Heater into the middle.

Wouldn't give up much to get him, but if we can swap one of our fringe players for him, I'd do it.
