A mate's old man recently retired from one of the papers after covering footy and other sports for 30 plus years. He wasn't like the trash today he had a pretty good reputation with the players and is quite good friends with a few big names from a few clubs.

He has always stated King's coaching career was drastically cut short because he genuinely had no clue and nothing of value to add.

Normally you'd listen to that sort of stuff with a grain if salt but genuinely listen to him on TV and twitter and you'll see he literally has no idea.

Didn't he refuse to rate Geelong in 2011 to the point of even saying the morning of the Grand Final they hadn't beaten anyone of note and would be shown up?
