All Austrlian has lost all meaning after Emac didn't make it last year. Johnson is a seagul, who does nothing but float in as the 3 man. He is the ultimate Jack Watts intercept mark.

As for Nic, I agree when fit is one of the best rucks goign around, but to calling him elite at this stage is stretching a little IMO.

That will definitely get a few people talking, or complaining I like how they put Nic Nat in our "elite" list. Love the bloke but I don't quite think he's at that level just yet. Also WTF is with Michael Johnson being in the freo list I reckon they'd have at least 3 or 4 better than him.

It's based on top 10% in position - so NicNat is only compared to rucks and comes it only behind Goldstein, Sandi and Jacobs.

Johnson is rated against key defenders and rates so highly because his "attacking stats" (which are far more easily measured and therefore there is a bias compared to pure defensive players) are very strong.

The Elite list is by position, not by standing of the full list. Plus it's heavily statistics based. Nic Nat is statistically elite as a ruckman (just ask any SuperCoach player).

I disagree. If you're as knowledgable about a club as he claims and his role requires, you don't confuse the FB and FF. Particularly when they never enter each other's half and their names are vastly different.

i run around that foreshore area most days - they have actually put a bloody soccer goal down there for that photo. the nearest oval from there is about 300m away!
