This is my post on Big footy...and I wanted it to be a good one...so here it is-
On the grapevine...serious consideration is being given to a David Morgan led ticket to challenge Clinton Casey and his team. David Morgan is the CEO of Westpac Bank in Sydney and played a handful of games for Richmond when he was a young man.
My information is that the ticket is being organised by Brendan Schwab. If Morgan decides to stand it will be a massive coup for the club. The only issue is that Westpac is based out of Sydney but dont be surprised to see the Tigers have Morgan fly in for board meetings. Morgan is in Melbourne atleast on a fortnightly basis so he'd be well capable of running board meetings and putting in place the necessary business plans to move the club forward.
A major part of the push will be to bring a big name coach to the tigers at the same time. If this happens...tigers fan will soon have things to be happy about!
