l would suggest giving up a our first draft selection in a strong draft for 2nd tier players such as Mundy/Warnock is quite a ridiculous suggestion, the only way you would consider giving up a first round pick is for quality players these players do not fit this criteria.

I'm not sure how much you've seen of both of them, but based on your comments I would suggest not much at all.

We would be massive winners in a trade of a first round pick for Mundy and Warnock.

Would you classify both Mundy and Warnock as A grade AFL players e.g Judd, Pavlich etc, l think not would a club give away a top five or six draft selection for two players that have yet to establish themselves at Afl level, l would suggest highly unlikely, the only way clubs will give away a top ten selection is for something special e.g Judd, l am afraid we differ in our opinion in that l don't agree with giving away high draft picks unless there is something special particuarly when we have drafted two long term ruckman in the last two drafts, Carlton's focus clearly must be on adding one or two key position players.

Judd, as evidenced by the trade deal, was worth TWO top 5 draft picks, plus upgrade of later pick, not even nearly comparable to ONE top 10 pick.

I hope you're not suggesting that Carlton will have a #5 or #6 draft pick this year!!!

As far as I'm aware, only us and Richmond are eligible for a 1st round PP. Can't see us winning less than 5, nor Richmond for that matter. Pick 6 would be an 11th placed finish - we've improved, but not enough to consider an 11/12th place finish preposterous.

Realistically Carlton's first pick later this year will LIKELY be between 5-7, this would be a significant improvement and provide the basis the build from, as stated we should not be trading this pick particuarly when we really gave away two top five picks for Judd.

After last nights performance - Id suggest we'd be having Pick #4/#5.
