I'm good mates with the big fella and he was after that part time gig for a while. Glad to see Clarko finally has him on board.

And yes, juggling Swiss, a newborn and part time coaching is going to be a challenge :)
Yeah, his missus is friends with mine. That's the only reason I knew about the newborn.

Funny but I never really respected him that much, maybe when his career highlight on retirement was the cowardly attack on mccabe whos head was over the ball. Started the end of mccabe career.

Ill be happy to be proven wrong though
I had no problem with what he did to McCabe...I remember thinking at the time wishing we had a player like him that could impact the contest, make his presence felt.
That period was a train wreck in almost every facet.

The match in question (round 1, 2002) wasn't a complete write off...

From memory we were only a kick away from a PF and GF in successive seasons (2000 and 2001) leading up to 2002

2003 - 04 definately went to shit though

Got him off the tribinal panel that might be a blessing

How can someone whos career highlight by his own admission is smashing luke mccabe have been involved it the namby pamby miscarriage of justice against Brian Lake last year ?
Don't agree.
Neitz was a stud for quite a few years, and a very good player the rest. Like his addition to the club coaching staff.
Lake's actions were ordinary to say the very, very least. Didn't make the least bit of difference what jumper he was wearing, no place in footy for that stuff.

I'm thinking having a KP coach that knows the perspective of 2/3 of the MRP like the back of his hand can only be an asset...
