Transplants work in places that don't have an existing large interest in the game. Places like Tasmania that do, want their own identity, not someone else's.Surely at this point you ship them to Tassie and call it a day
Bull****. Would be quite a few who would take on the challenge and see it as a huge opportunity to prove themselves by turning the club around. That is why you coach for, to make a difference.Noble is safe, no one is taking on that job with the list and the off field problems.
Wonder who is doing their picking at the MSD?
Adam Simpson to North
Ken Hinkley to Giants
Schofield to coach WCE
Port dumb enough to appoint Chad
Clarkson to Suns
Normally the full support of the board means you're getting the arse.
Would be better to "merge"/absorb them into Gold Coast ala Brisbane/Fitzroy, freeing up a spot for a standalone Tasmania teamSurely at this point you ship them to Tassie and call it a day

If James Hird coaches North i will actually quitHird would have a crack, if he doesnt knife McVeigh or lose out to Clarko.
I get that you want Hinkley gone but what do you have against the Giants, Simpson, Schofield, Chad and Clarkson?

Has it been said once or twice? If we are told "the coach has our backing..." twice then you'll know he's goneHe's as good as gone it's only a matter of when not if.

With Alastair Clarkson waiting in the wings and GWS already in the market for a new coach it makes sense for North Melbourne to make a move now as they've realised Noble isn't the man to lead them to their next premiership.
