I like the guy, but he does say some bewildering stuff at times. Was it Dave who said that Andrea Bocelli should open his eyes and look at the audience when he sings. Didn't know he was blind.

He really wound me up as a tv commentator a few years ago.
Now i listen to the run home every morning (UK) and find him pretty darn entertaining in a silly, 'dad joke' way. Willing to laugh at himself which is always endearing.
Funny guy.
Plus when he can string a sentence together, he knows his stuff.

We all know Dave is not the sharpest twig on the tree....But he impresses me with his sincerity...and his openness.

Schwarz comes across as a good bloke and is entertaining, as long as he's not trying to analyse football or call a game ( in my opinion he sucks at both big time) i like listening to him.

I love the Ox, met him a few times and always willing to have a chat and give up his time. As others have said not the smartest bloke going around but still speaks with passion.
