12 of our players are missing for the year but the team is still able to bring effort every week.
 
The annoying part of drafting players like David Swallow, Kade kolodjashnij and Ah Chee is opposition fans think they can just pick off the brother because Gold Coast aren't a top 8 team. The Victorian media will continually tell you Swallow is leaving and maybe even make up that he is uncontracted like what Matthew Lloyd did because no one is going to tell them otherwise and it will keep North Melbourne fans clicking on their articles. Once the Suns get there best 22 out there and not have 21 players on the injury list, things will turn around and players will recommit.

Both WA clubs will be strongly interested in him as well.

I would back my club over north to get his signature if he wanted to move.

your 12 top up players are mature players that have played AFL, we're promoting 18 year old rookies left right and center to make up the numbers then selecting injured players that some probably shouldn't be playing.

We have an injury crisis, we're starting to gain some troops back this week, and over the next month. Hopefully much closer to full strength around the bye in a few weeks.

As for Dave, would be shattered if he left the club and look forward to seeing back on the park later in the year. The whole North medical consultancy thing is blown out of massive proportion however disappointing the circumstances. Shame that David had to look for that 2nd opinion outside our club, but I imagine that would have been advice from his older brother.

A) we only took 10 top up players
B) only Kelly and Dea played on the weekend and in our one win this season only 4 top up players played
C) agreed, you guys have had a shitty run with injury
D) in spite of that shitty run there's still something NQR on the GC in my book. Maybe the list is too much icing not enough cake but the results should be better than they are
E) I'm aware you won our round 1 game
