Harris demands selection through his Shield performances, just can't get it together in Tests.

Renshaw doesn't even go well in Shield.

Harris might be the lucky one for ashes selection if he keeps getting runs in the remaining shield games especially if the current players in India keep failing.Even if Harris not selected for the ashes he might be there any way playing county cricket.

I'd be putting a line through Harris; he's been exposed at Test level and has not been able to overcome his flaws. His Shield form is good but he is unable to replicate it at Test level. I'd almost say the same for Bancroft. Renshaw's Tests largely came when he was very young, he deserves the opportunity to show he is suited to Test cricket.

If he was a better bat now he'd have better shield form over 5 years then what I've just posted, even this year his made 1 score out of 8 innings, take away his 200 his scored 110 runs in the other 7, three of the past 5 seasons he hasn't even averaged 30, two were less then 22.
