Yeah well look at the player he attacked and the reason for it and you'll get some idea of who's the Moo and who's the good bloke.

For wanting to leave a dressing room after 5 hours?

The bastard.

Beat me to the punch mate. I thought George Bailey was incredibly unlucky to miss out on an Ashes spot, he has shown himself to be a reliable, consistent international batsman and a calming influence.

Only man who shows fight in our cricket side. Might want to leave it until your sober and on the field
hitting the ball rather than the opponent would probably help too. With a bat (you need to outline these things, don't expect Davey to just get what you are saying).

I think he missed Root

I thought his form would see him dropped, thankfully his idiocy has forced ca's hand.

Hope he is never capped again tbh.

when you average 18.28 from 8 games you're not particularly unlucky when you don't receive a call up. there were elements to last season which Bailey was unlucky - they could have sent him to India. the season performance at that point was not the notably dire record he ended up with - but in the end not getting an Ashes spot isn't one of them.

He's not a bastard, he was just leaving to go and have dinner with , not bond with the team. And how many of the other players do you reckon would have been stopping Katich? Personally I would have been going the boots while he was doing the strangling.

There's so many things wrong with this post I just don't know where to begin so I won't.

i'm surprised you wouldn't attack the nuts

What an embarrassment this man is. Hopefully this can be a sort of Ponting moment and he pulls himself together. Although it may be the last time I compare him to Punter.

On a side note, why was he out at 2am in the middle of the Champions Trophy where his team is badly struggling?

The boozy culture works a treat when you are smashing tons and skittling wickets, not so much when you're bagging ducks and padding the oppositions batting averages.

And I choose to believe that people who think that Clarke should've been allowed to leave the dressing rooms after a Test win according to his own timetable and not the teams are being ironic and sarcastic.

Clever.

Seriously though, Bailey's Shield form was abysmal. Almost as bad as D Hussey's. Its pesumably one of the reasons for so many openers being in the squad - no middle order batsmen showed anything all summer. Burns had a couple of good games late in he piece, Doolan was alright but that was about it.

He was Protecting Amla from South Africa.Joe Root from England was laying it on Amla and taking the piss out of Amla so Dave Warner Protected his mate.Thats what Aussies do and Joe Root had a Cry.

And it's not like Warner and Root were alone, McKay, Marsh (duh), Maxwell (duh), Wade and Hughes were there from Australia and there were some (3-4 by one report) unidentified English players. It seems utterly bizarre given the nature of this particular tournament (3-4-5 day turnarounds) that players were allowed to go out and drink

The English captain: "It's important that you take these opportunities to let your hair down."

Very bizzare, and hard to believe.

Clarke is injured, isn't Arthur calling the shots? Don't we have someone there in charge of the team?

Shows how much Australia and England care about this tournament.

Source?

A number of news websites.

Warner really should have thought before he acted. I am not saying he was wrong for sticking up for a mate (Amla), he just took the wrong action.

Root on the other hand should be hung, drawn and quartered for this if true. If it is true it will be the lowest thing I have ever heard a modern international player do as the beard is part of his religion/ culture.
