I think it might be. Big mental hurdle to get over and one that might give him belief at the slams. Alex played a fantastic match. The serve was the difference in the end.Great effort ADM. Is that Zverev's first 5 set win?
Well done to De Minaur for a great effort! Such a promising young player. At the same time I'm a bit relieved for Zverev for winning a 5 setter. Would be a huge monkey off his back and I hope to see him start to go further in SlamsI think it might be. Big mental hurdle to get over and one that might give him belief at the slams. Going to have a good Davis Cup team in a few years with Nick and Alex. Tomic who.
Between the age of 5 and 13 Alex grew up in Spain and he would have developed his tennis on the clay. Think he's decent on it.Anyone know how ADM fares on clay? That will be key for away ties. He went 20/7 in 2016 but they were all at futures level. Last year he went 2/5 but 3 of the losses were at ATP level and he might not have been ready at that stage.

It's been in place since 2016When did they start with the tie breakers in the 5th set for the David Cup?
Why follow the yanks and the US Open? Demeans the competition.
Spain as expected taking the Poms out behind the woodshed
