De Minaur hanging in there.
Courtside Commentary from Woodbridge and JF has been excellent.
TJ and Groth have been a bit rusty as studio hosts but I guess good practice for them prior to Aust Open.

Benoit Paire with a CH ranking of 18 playing his first Davis Cup match for France at 29. Meanwhile we have had Gooch, Groth and Thompson over the last 10 years.
Crazy to think it's his first Davis Cup tie. Personal choice not to play in the past or has he simply not been picked?

Honestly don't mind Woodbridge and Fitzy.

Feel like Alex is not at his best here, just seems a bit flat. Hope he hasn't got the bug that Millman had (if he had it at all that is).

Edit: And with that he emits a 'COME ON!!!'.

Tsonga, Monfils, Gasquet, Simon, Chardy, Pouille.

Then players like Benneteau, Llodra, Mahut who were capable singles and guns in doubles so would also get picked in front of him.

I don't think he has had the best relationship with the French association either.

Pretty amazing depth for zero singles grand slam titles.

De Minaur's worst surface would be clay, his game is too flat and his movement actually didn't seem to be as fluid.

If this was a normal davis cup playoff tie then I would be very disappointed right now but honestly even though it's going to affect our ranking this doesn't matter. Hopefully, Lleyton plays tonight.

Impressed with Thompson though, that was 4 more games than I was expecting ;)

Any word yet if JT or Hewitt will partner up with Peers tonight?

Nah all the best to Hewitt tonight. Hopefully the tie is kept alive

Yep, hoping he and Peers can get the win. Millman is practicing so no doubt he will play in the singles if we win this doubles match. Uphill battle from here though.
