That was a Chris Scott like late change on the way move when they didn't pick Peers originally.

Brazilian teenager Thiago Seyboth Wild just made the final in Santiago.

Bit of a wildcard but has played 18 matches on hard and 144 on clay though so that potentially speaks for itself.

As mentioned by others, terrible timing. Most players were in North or South America and have to fly back for that tie before flying back for Indian Wells.

I don't have a great feeling about this tie. Thompson and Millman are good fighters and serviceable but are not in the form they were in over our Summer. The two Brazilians are in good form.

I have to admit I am getting nervous about his tie as well. Let's hope the partisan Adelaide crowd can get our Aussie battlers over the line (although I'm sure Brazil will rustle up some noisy fans no problem).

Team - for now - is Millman and Thompson in singles and Peers and Duckworth in doubles.

Thommo first up tomorrow against Monteiro followed by Millman versus Seyboth Wild.

The leading cause of heart attacks in Australia - Sitting courtside at the tennis

Is that what it was! Just got back home and they said a 26 min break which is long break for a medical incident in the crowd.

John breaks back... GO AUSSIES!!!

Damn, Brazil win the doubles. Thought we would have won that. Onto the reverse singles. Millman has to win his match as I can’t see Thommo beating Seyboth Wild.
