Yeah we had to win the 1st singles and then we would of been favourite in the doubles. Sinner just seems to be an awful matchup for Alex (as does every top player

With all the footy finals excitement I completely forgot about Davis Cup. Looks like we've qualified for the next stage even though we lost to Spain.
Universal hatred for this current format it seems. I feared they have irreversibly damaged Davis Cup.

Just no space in the tennis season with so many tournaments. Just unfortunate. It’s a really patriotic tournament when it’s home and away format.

Sponsorship, players burn out. Surprised Davis Cup still exist with Laver Cup and United Cup. Just meaningless cups happening.

Had to look up the last time the Dutch got in the Semis
It was 2001 against the French with future World No.11 Sjeng Schalken playing all 3 days
The French won 3-2 (They were 3-0 up by Saturday but for whatever reason they still played the Sunday reverse singles)
