A great win by Hewiit last night. He bounced back after a dissapointing first day loss. He can't win them all though and they need to fix up the second singles spot.

Anyone know what happens from here? I guess we play an Asian Country to stay in the world Group?

No, we go into the world group playoff draw (september 07) with the other first round losers and the winners of the zonal groups. If we win this, we are back in the world group for next year, lose and we go down to the asian/oceania group for next year which means no world group action in 2008.

Yep I knew all of that, for some reason I thought the team we always played to stay in the World group had to come from Asia but after a bit more thought I was wrong on that one. I was thinking of the year we missed out on the World Group
